Everyone living in mainstream American society, owns the rights to production.......meaning, each individual produces his or her own unique content, and all of that accumulated content, becomes society.

I'm typing on a Dell computer and I have an HP second monitor and a Logitech wireless mouse.  All told, this setup would cost about $2000.  Let's say the profit margin for those items is 20%, so that's a profit of $200 reaped by the companies that made these products.  How much of that profit did I experience?  $0.  Thus, I am in no way an owner of these companies.  Your analogy is way off.

And I can go further than that. I do engineering for a living. I get paid a salary plus a modest bonus if I work a lot of overtime. A given project I work on may make more or less profit but my income doesn't change. Also, if the company experiences a banner year and profits go up by 50%, my salary doesn't change. So again, how does my "content" in any way constitute ownership?

Again, I'm not wondering about whether people have rights to production - whether we produce our own unique content, or whether accumulated content becomes society.

I'm wondering..very specifically...what that, to you, suggests implies or demonstrates that society is essentially an employee owned company?

Think of it like this. If I say that there is a group of people doing stuff together with rights to production producing their own content which accumulates into society - in what way have I shown that this group of people is an employee owned company rather than a book club or a mud wrestling match or a choir?

Why don't we start with how society is like a company, and work toward the employee owned part?

Marx and Marxism were some of the most self-critical philosophies of any age. The Marxists were skeptics, not ideologues. Unlike capitalism which has an almost cult-like belief in the "free markets" The only real exception to this was Adam Smith who modern Capitalists would burn as a Communist.

I see you have no idea what you are talking about.  At least you're consistent.

I don't see much comparison really.  If you mean society in the USA.  We have citizens who may or may not work to produce goods or services.  Some of those people own the means of production (think small businesses or the owners of big private companies, like Trump).  Most people have no ownership at all in the work they do; it's a simple quid pro quo, labor for money, relationship.  I would say that everyone who works in some capacity, even if it is volunteering, adds some value to society as a whole.  Those who don't work don't add may subtract since they may receive benefits for which they didn't contribute anything of value.

Wait... who gave the rich a permanent tax cut again, while giving the middle class a temporary one? Oh right. That was you guys.
Who touts that workers should go in to work sick, and help their employers, even during a pandemic? Oh right, Josh Mandel, Republican, Ohio.

And who wants to tax the rich? Oh.... Joe Biden. Hmm...

Sounds like just more sheeping of right-wing-talking points to me. "We're the party of the middle class!" "So what have you done for the middle class lately?" "We cut taxes on the rich, so when they get rich, they don't have to pay as many taxes!"
"Tradition" is just a word people use to make themselves feel better about being an asshole.

I don’t get why some people have such a problem with Marx. He was brilliant, with or without his brothers.
