What do you know today that you didn't know yesterday?
RE: What do you know today that you didn't know yesterday?
A Mini SAS SFF-8087 to SAS SFF-8482 cable will allow a standard HBA or RAID controller to hook up to SAS drives. I knew the HBA was described as a SAS controller, but I had no idea how to hook it up to a SAS drive.

Not so much ‘plans’ as a speculative proposal.

According to UNICEF Poland 60zł ( about 16 dollars) is enough money to secure life saving therapeutic food for child in Gaza for period of 2 weeks. Needles to say I immediately switched to where and whom I donate my money and I am deeply ashamed that I didn't do it earlier.

We’ve been sending money to World Central Kitchen. I’m sure we can squeeze UNICEF into the budget.

I'm genuinely happy to hear it.

I've cancelled everything else. Supporting independent left-wing journalism in Poland might be important but there are things which are far more urgent. I can't tackle crisis at the roots of it but I can easily reases my priorities and send my limited funds where they will do most good.

It might also make you happy to know that my Jewish, Israeli-born wife hates Netanyahu with the white-hot intensity of a thousand burning suns and is sickened by what’s happening in Gaza. I only mention it because she’s in charge of our charitable donations.

It does make me happy because scum on whose orders genocide is perpetrated deserves to be hated. However instead of hatred directed at him by ordinary people I would prefer world waking the fuck up and reminding this murderous regime that it can't act with impunity but Lenin rising from his mausoleum and building communism is far more probable.
