^ Saw a couple of dowds leaving my neighbors house, so I went out and locked the front gate, knowing that that's how jovies dress. About a half hour later, they tried the gate. I know this because the dogs go apeshit when the gate makes a noise, especially when the wife is gone. Gate is ornamental iron, mostly curlicues. Wife got home and reached past the curlicues and opened the gate with the inside handle.

There's also a dead bolt, if we want it locked for real.

Some parts of Nunes' 2017 memo alleging defects in the beginning of the Russia investigation were borne out, but no evidence of bias or ill intent was found.

It's become a new trend to turn off elevators and stand there blocking them to piss people off.
What would you do?
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Kick Funny Boy in the fork. "Oh, damn, I just shined my shoes, and can't do a thing with them!" Except I use a cane, and could easily explain away slipping on the escalator.

Tanzania’s Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest free-standing (ie, not part of a mountain range) peak in the world.

I learned what 'dowd' means.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
