I know that you can catch a 40 inch, 18 1/2 pound musky in a 10 foot wide storm drain.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Are they good eatin' at that size? And I think I may have caught 18-1/2 pounds of fish in my whole life.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

I'm not sure I'm eating storm drain musky.

Not really. They grow slowly. The record for this lake was a 17 year old fish (caught by a 14 year old girl), the big ones are all at least 10. Lots of mercury, not a particularly great flavor to begin with.

The blue gill and cats we use for bait taste better. Though I suppose musky do taste better than rubber ducks...which I also use for bait. Wink

More fun stuff. The name musky is derived from an ojibwe word, mashkinooz(sp) - ugly pike.

Back in the day I caught a five foot, eight inch shark off the back of a Navy tug in the waters around St. Croix.

The really weird thing is I was getting paid by the taxpayers while I was fishing.

Lee Marvin died from complications of a respiratory fungal infection, not cancer as I was led to believe at the time of his death.  Read

But you can confirm that he's still dead, yes?

He was my role model.
