The band Redbone, behind "Come and Get Your Love"? All Indigenous Americans with Mexican heritage. Hell, "Redbone" itself is apparently slang for someone with mixed heritage.
So, I guess that this performance isn't just some Stupid Fucking White Man kitsch:
Maybe not strictly accurate to the Yaqui tradition (admittedly, most of what I know about that particular tribe comes from Carlos Castaneda) most of its members were from, but at least they're natives, so it's not cringe.

The first commercially available microwave oven (the Radarange by Raytheon) stood almost six feet tall, weighed 750lbs, and sold for between $2000 and $3000 (equivalent to $28 000 and $30 000 today).
And some idiots insist there’s no such thing as progress.

German chocolate cake is American, not German. It was named for an English-American baker named Samuel German who invented a form of sweet baking chocolate in 1853. The cake dates from the 1950s and was originally called ‘German’s Chocolate Cake.’

Only two people have ever accepted a second-hand Nobel Prize as a gift.
One of them was Joseph Goebbels.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

If you break up candy canes and process them through a coffee grinder, you make peppermint sugar. It’s lovely in tea, horrible in coffee.
