When did you become anti-CDC? Sounds like you and the anti-vaxxers have something in common now.

When the CDC appoints you as their ambassador, I'm out.

So, RFK does not hang around with any unwashed unvaxxed masses, except to take their money, of course.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

People in lab coats aren't infallible prophets of science. All we can ask from them is the best information they currently have. When they get more information, they change their recommendations accordingly, which is what I want them to do.

Do you know who I am? I know that the CDC and WHO are not infallible. This is what I've been saying all along, and Helios and AWTY are just jumping on the bandwagon with me now and turning against health agencies after calling me anti-science for two years for not supporting these health agencies recommendations. My work is done here. Mission accomplished. People are now thinking for themselves rather than letting the CDC do the thinking for them. I'm a proud papa. Yes, it is evil that Helios and AWTY want millions of school children to be masked up for probably decades to come and barred from school due to vax status, but at least I got these two thinking for themselves. It's a step in the right direction.

I don't think masking is the solution, because aides and nurses around me have been contracting C-19 while masked and following PPE guidelines. But neither do I think being anti-vax is a reasonable solution.

I've been masked and had both boosters. I venture out very seldom but make sure to mask up when in the doctor's office and at the pharmacy. I figure the chance of sick people there is high. That said, I do know that the vaccines and masks don't help 100%. Both my doctor and her nurse have had COVID. The nurse told me that she was sick to the point of nearly being hospitalized a couple months ago.

If I can reduce my exposure, that's what I intend to do.

Also, from my perspective of what I have experienced and seen, it seems to me that the people who contract C-19 aren't getting it from work so much as they are out in the world where they're not wearing masks and social distancing. Because I've worked right along with everyone else, and I have never had it. But, of course, I am quite the introvert who can count on one hand how many times I go out in public in a year.

Masking is effective but not the only solution and anti-vaxxer and vaccine "skeptics" along anti moderators are all dangerous lunatics.

This is something that IA should keep in mind:

The way the CDC sees it, there seems to be enough of a change in the way things are going to justify relaxing some of the standards they set up over the past couple years. This doesn’t somehow vindicate IA and his anti-vaxx bullshit. Especially when IA was saying the same thing earlier in the year (in post 710 of this very thread) when both new cases and deaths were at highs unseen since before the vaccine became readily available, and the people most vulnerable either way were the unvaccinated and he somehow saw this fact as vindicating his “do-nothing” approach to the virus.
