I also love how IA arguments are pretty damn close to the one's Idiots and YECs use. Both boast their own band of Ph.D. brandishing frauds and try to pretend their on the same level as actual scientists and insist they aren't anti-science "their just listening to different experts" and insist you need to "Think for yourself sheeple" which almost always means "join our cult and throw out all the actual science "

We know it takes very little for scientists to be thrown under the bus. Dawkins is losing awards left and right and much of the left doesn't seem to like him anymore and takes his thoughts less seriously now because he hurt their fee fees.
Nope. I took the vaccine. And FYI, Bret Weinstein hasn't told people not to take the vaccine either, although he is not vaccinated himself. Also, I do not endorse Weinstein's view that there is a 95 % likelihood that the virus leaked from a lab. I wouldn't even put it at 80 or 70 or 60 or 50. I don't have a number. I'm agnostic on it. I disagree with much of Weinstein's views on politics, his views on free will, etc. Guess that doesn't make me a very good cult member, but I do have a great deal of respect for Bret and his wife Heather who does the podcast with him.

I never took a Dawkins seriously I'm happy the spell finally wore off and everyone sees him for the hack he's always been.

Yeah pushes covid misinformation so it's grifting bullshit

No one cares you embrace his bullshit nonetheless.

Irrelevant you embrace his bullshit nonetheless.

Nope, none of that matters because you still embrace his bullshit. The fact you pick and choose the bullshit doesn't make it any less bullshit.
Also, I love how you didn't actually address my point but you rarely do.

And here is one of your experts. Fauci says it too soon to tell if Christmas gatherings are ok LMAO. What was the point of getting the vaccine if you can't even see your family?

any ID Cultists have disagreements with Behe on stuff like common descent and the age of the earth doesn't change the fact they embrace Behe's bullshit
Quote:And here is one of your experts. Fauci says it too soon to tell if Christmas gathers are ok LMAO. What was the point of getting the vaccine if you can't even see your family?
To protect yourself and other people. Which is the same reason you maybe shouldn't have a gathering as some of your relatives might not be able to be vaccinated or have refused to be vaccinated and thus you shouldn't endanger them

Good question. Let's see if Fauci actually elaborated on what he meant by saying it was too soon to tell if Christmas gatherings were okay (2:45).
Quote: ““You know Margaret, it’s just too soon to tell, We’ve just got to concentrate on continuing to get those numbers down and not try to jump ahead by weeks or months and say what we’re going to do at a particular time. Let’s focus like a laser on continuing to get those cases down. And we can do it by people getting vaccinated and also, in the situation where boosters are appropriate, to get people boosted.”
And shortly before that, he actually explains why taking precautions is still necessary even if you had the jab.
And the next day, he told CNN:
Quote:“I will be spending Christmas with my family. I encourage people, particularly the vaccinated people who are protected, to have a good, normal Christmas with your family.”
How does he square the previous two quotes?
Quote:“I was asked, ‘What could we predict for this winter for like December and Christmas?' I said, ‘We don’t know because we’ve seen slopes that went down and then came back up. The best way to assure that we’ll be in good shape as we get into the winter would be to get more and more people vaccinated. That was misinterpreted as my saying we can’t spend Christmas with our families, which was absolutely not the case. The way all of the other disinformation goes around, you say something talking about a landmark of a time, and it gets misinterpreted that I’m saying you can’t spend family Christmas time, which is nonsense. You can.”
If you don't like the possibility of not spending Christmas with your loved ones, the best thing you can do about it is get them all vaccinated before then. And, yes, I know you're vaccinated, IA, but individual vaccinations can only go so far if the rest of those loved ones aren't immune.
...And this is why you try to get the actual interviews and not just get it from a middleman.

Have you considered he's protecting those who can't get vaccinated yet, people with no immunity? Maybe from people traveling who, for whatever reason, have not been vaccinated either and could be carriers, vaccinated or not.
My guess is no because the conspiracy part of your brain does not compute logic and reason.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

Those quotes from the next day are clearly damage control from Fauci. I did not misinterpret anything.

Fauci and other health officials say ridiculous things like this all the time. It's no conspiracy theory. It's a pattern.
Here's Canada's supposed "top doctor" as they call her, telling people to consider wearing a mask during sex. Seriously. You can't make this stuff up.

But it's not ridiculous as was explained above

Having sex with strangers increases the likelihood of getting covid so what's wrong with wearing a mask to reduce the likelihood?

Yes you did and no they are not
And none of that's as dumb or as dangerous as the crap Weinstein is pushing
