Cringe. No one said covid is not dangerous. How many lives do vaccine mandates save? The overwhelming majority of people in high risk categories have voluntarily gotten vaccinated, therefore they have decent protection already, and other people choosing not to get vaccinated doesn't mean much, because we're all going to get covid. Other people getting vaccinated is not going to stop you from getting covid. Time for you to accept this reality and quit acting like we're living through the black plague.

Children are being forced to get vaccinated to remain on their little league teams, and flu is much more dangerous for them and deadly for them. Explain your reasoning behind supporting little kids being compelled to go through a medical procedure that their parents are not comfortable with them getting.

They've already had to do so to go to public school in the us, IA. This isn't a thing. Your arguments are facetious and irrelevant. The reason that we have mandatory vaccinations -in any context- is to prevent the spread and mutation of disease causing pathogens. That's it. That's the whole thing.

If people don't want to take the shots, that's their right. If they don't want to get their child the shots. That's their right. Are you under the impression that under a vaccine mandate, this was not still the case?

My kids all had to have shots to go to school. Kind of a rule here. None of them died from the vaccines, nor did they contract the illness they were vaccinated against other than my son, who caught everything when he was little...but the cases were mild and left no lasting ill effects.

I can remember having mumps when I was about seven. I had chicken pox at 16. My kids were spared mumps but all had chicken pox...my grandkids have had to suffer through neither.

Parents do a lot of things to protect their kids from a lot of things...if they are decent parents in the slightest.

You cheer on protesters firebombing ICE detention facilities and attempting to burn down courthouses, but eating Tim Hortons and putting a Canadian flag on a Canadian hero is where you draw the line? These truckers are basically terrorists, am I right? You're one strange dude.

Flu shots are mandatory in schools? Not here. The flu is much more deadly for children than covid. I don't think I'm minimizing the issue. Even people like Bill Gates will say that we got extremely lucky with this pandemic and that it could have been far, far worse, so the severity of the pandemic has definitely been seen as a silver lining all along and I'm not saying anything new. And it's finally looking like Omicron, and now BA.2 which will likely overtake Omicron, will likely give us a good level of herd immunity. It's looking like it might just be time to celebrate. The emergence of Omicron has caused the narrative to collapse. Everything is going to be alright. I see the light at the end of this tunnel. No more doom and gloom. Let's celebrate. Let go of that narrative of yours that has collapsed into a million pieces.
