It'll be quite amusing to see all the faketriots talk about never forgetting the 2,000k+ lives lost that day while simultaneously posting about how much ivermectin they took while not wearing a mask as the covid-19 death count surpasses 650,000.

I was in a sales meeting at the moment it happened with a colleague. We left that meeting and drove back to our office. We were only starting that journey, (my colleague was driving) and the radio news was on as usual. A plane has hit the WTC? Some stupid PPL loon in a cessna, we thought.
Now, when we are co travelling, my colleague and I, we tie in to the cars voice facility, so both of us heard that it was a honking great airliner, not some random Cessna.
Second one hits and my sister calls on speaker (before we got it on the car radio) and says a second one has hit the second tower.
At this point we are stuck in traffic.
Next call from my sister? The towers are gone. At that point, the two of us abandoned the traffic jams and found a handy pub with a live TV feed.

I woke up, pulled up IRC on the computer and everybody was jabbering about it. I turned on the TV and there it was.
