The Plan

The Plan
Every plan typically has an end goal in mind.
Here are the plans to build my house.
Here are the plans to rob the bank to pay for the house.
Here is my plan to escape from the authorities should everything not go according to plan.

If you believe that a god exists and that everything that happens in the world, happens according to god's plan, then what is the end goal ?

Humans have been around on earth for a good 200,000 years, give or take a few thousand. Presumably all those people would be in hell. That was the plan for some 200,000 years.

Perhaps hell got too crowded or maybe God got tired of all those endless screams that he could surely hear all of the time for 200,000 years. That's a lot of screaming and torment for seemingly no reason.

Then came the bible as put together by Marcion.
Some would say the early Christians put together a bible as a reaction to what Marcion had done. They didn't want people reading what Marcion had cobbled together in his canon so they created their own.

They decided which books would be in their bible and which ones would be excluded. They decided.

So maybe now some people would finally get into heaven, except all those other people all over the world who had other religious beliefs.

Year after year. Century after century you still had millions going to hell and this was perfectly ok with God. All part of the plan.

Lots of wars, millions killed and still most going to hell.
Lots of babies who died from disease also in hell.
But hey, still all part of the plan.

If the goal was to have people in heaven, a god could just create that from the start right ?

But that's not the plan. That's not the goal.

Well right, that really isn't the goal. Not only would an automatic "Heaven for everyone" be meaningless, but a lot of beings wouldn't even want such a thing. Even just on Earth, there are many people who prefer the struggle of existence. And perhaps God's Plan would make more sense, if you were further along? Maybe it just doesn't make sense right now. Not everything is going to make sense as soon as you start asking questions.

Not everyone has a plan. Some people never have one after a certain point and some even never had one at any stage.

I've always been amused by the fact that Christians are convinced god has a plan, but none of them can adequately communicate what that plan is exactly. Yet when something happens that makes life difficult, they are certain it's part of god's plan.
Why is it so?

That's because God's Plan has lots of moving parts, and isn't the same for everyone. It's hard to describe something that works like that.

Adding additional pretend ideas to an already pretend position doesn't make anything more clear.  And you're one to talk.  If you aren't a Christian, then you aren't part of his plan.  Any Christian will tell you that.

Well, Ahriman tried to show empathy to religious folk. You calling him pretend ideas or whatever isn't a good take

After conferring with god, the plan is I need a mansion in San Diego, 2 Lamborghinis, a Bentley, a CT5V Blackwing, and a private jet.

So, reach deep into your hearts, and bank accounts.
Fuck the ill and disadvantaged.
My needs come first
It's god's plan.

Everyone is part of God's Plan, not just Christians.
