Tonight at 8:30. Brady will be facing his former team. Anyone want to take odds on this? I think TB will win. Bill simply doesn't have the dynasty team he once did. But who knows. Bill does have the advantage of decades of knowing Brady's habits.

But long term in general, Dynasties are fun for fans, but suck for the rest of the sport. The Patriots for the past billion years (YES, an obvious exaggeration) have been the Constantine's conversion to Christianity, or if that is not satisfying to you, Che ending up giving power to Castro. What? I have always been an underdog fan when it isn't my team playing. Brady has more bling than a diamond mine. I am quite sure if he loses tonight he won't end up eating cat food. It still is only a game. Ultimately I just want to see a good close game either way. The Patriots are at a disadvantage and don't have the dynasty weapons they did when he was there. But you said earlier that you’re rooting for the Patriots because of Brady. Quote:I am not rooting for the Patriots this weekend because of the Patriots, but because of Brady not letting go. You can root for whoever you like, naturally, but it’s kind weird that you keep changing the reason why. Boru

Fun question. Shouldn't the Patriots be "America's Team" since their mascot is a revolutionary war rebel?
Why is it so?

I am neither a Tampa fan or a Patriots fan. Dynasties are fun for the fans of the team who holds that dynasty for sure. I'd love to see Washington dominate like we did in the 80s. But you are right, I am also rooting against Brady, because he is not letting go. Two reasons can be valid at the same time. I don't see how someone could not be satisfied with 10 Super Bowl shows and 7 wins. If our species doesn't end up in a nuclear war, Brady's record is virtually unbreakable, and would have been so even if he never went to Tampa. Brady shattered Bradshaw's Super Bowls wins by 3. That is a record that will be extremely hard to beat by one player. Ultimately it strictly is an underdog reason. RE: Mr Goat goes to New England

I hope everyone enjoys today’s game between the New England Neurocysticercosis and the Tampa Bay Thrombophilia. Boru

Even though Jim Kelly lost 4 Super Bowls in a row, it is still impressive that any team does just a back to back show, win or lose. I think Kelly deserves more credit for his stats than people give him. 4 consecutive shows in the big dance is impressive, regardless that he lost.
One of his losses was to Washington. Now of course I rooted for Washington in that game, but the other 3 I was rooting for Kelly and the Bills.
