What does that mean?

It’s an Irish expression used to express (among other things) extreme exasperation with another person’s utter cluelessness.

Honestly - did you REALLY think I believed Boston was named after custard cakes that grow in the wild, or that a link calling you a idiot was a real link??

Well, I thought it was a real link. As for whether you really believed Boston was named after a type of a cake, I was not sure. And I am still not sure. You could be lying now just to save your face.
And what have you accomplished in life to have a right to call me "clueless"? I have at least published a few papers in peer-reviewed journals, the latest one being of rather high quality.

It seeems to me that you are implying "I can't stand other people on this forum having intellectual discussions.", and I genuinely hope I am wrong.

..at what point..and how... did you get the impression that you were having any such conversation?  I believe you showed your work to some intellectuals, and they told you what they thought about it - which caused you to come here and bitch and moan that prissy scholars thought your work was trash, or..more specifically..uninteresting.  But kudos to you for finding some place that would print it, even if you acknowledge that there's no fucking way it would ever get printed in the english language.

Probably something to that.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

None of those scholars told me my work was "uninteresting trash". Not even the most insightful works about Croatian names of places get printed in English, why would they? Katičić published a few works about names of places on islands of the Adriatic sea in Italian, because he thought it might be interesting to Italian audience. Mayer published some things (I believe about the name of the river Mura) about Croatian names of places in German, because he intended to reach Austrian audience. But none of them, as far as I know, even tried to publish in English.
