Maybe they'll lean into the idea that all of this life is the explicable result of biology, and therefore, human beings and even a specific race of human beings are the intentional product of a biological machine.

they could always resort to “even if the rise of the flesh is explicable by comprehensible processes the rise of soul can not”

If asked to show the soul exist they will say “soul’s existence is proven by the fact it is so defined as to be undisprovable.”

If asked what unfalsifiable propositions prove they will say “plato this or st augustine, or jesus and Muhammad never needed falsifiability to pontificate, who are you”

They might be right; we all acknowledge that, don't we? On the other hand, they may be wrong; they rarely acknowledge that possibility.
