Damn it, it does recognize that it is plugged in. But last time I checked it said "78%" and just now it said "77%".

I don't remember that, but I do remember almost burning down the trailer I had replaced with this one. I had been buying fatty pork steaks all spring because they were cheap and on sale. The grease and oil collected at the bottom of the gas grill. The grill itself was in a covered porch. I put the new pork steaks on, closed the lid, walked in, only to come out and notice a bright glowing read in the side vents, which I didn't think was normal. I stupidly opened the lid, and the oxygen gave the fire fuel and the flames shot up to a couple of inches to the roof of the porch. Fortunately my panic caused me to do the right thing, I closed the lid, turned off the gas and wheeled the grill to the open side of the wrap around porch. RE: Of laptops and power cords......
