RE: Who is your Daemon?
According to a quiz my sister got me to take with her, mine is Jaguar. Hers was Mountain Goat.

Why is it no one ever seems to have a blob fish or a cockroach for a spirit animal?

Cockroach totems are thought to be extremely powerful in cultures that acknowledge them, which tend not to be cultures in the global north.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. … Native American? Huh. I would have guessed by your old name you were probably Korean. Looks like I was way off.

On the OP, I’d probably guess either a raven (or some variety of crow) or a vulture.

Yup Inuit it's why for previous user names I have used Amarok(A monstrous wolf from Inuit lore) and Sungula (An Inuit word for the sun)

Riiight?  Mind, you might have those tiny little european cockroaches in mind.  Fucking nuisance.  It's usually the palm sized survivors that get covered in spiritual glory.  Tropic and subtropics.  Bugs in general really.  Late classic maya pottery is covered in them - roll that around in your mind a bit.  Your storage containers, your bowl with dinner in it, covered in ornately carved masses of bugs painted in a brilliant flashing scheme that suggests movement.

Crows because of this Cracked article. The first time I read this article, I found myself thinking "Fucking Hell, most of the guys in my high school class hadn't hit half of these milestones."

Vultures because, as scary as they might seem, they're actually rather fairly nice, especially in comparison with other birds of prey. Imagine all the times you've seen vultures in movies or TV shows or cartoons and ask yourself if you've seen any that act like this (At this moment, the closest I'm thinking is that fucking Lil Dicky song):

And, as India is finding out the hard way, they have a very useful place in the ecosystem.
