Amazon just "invented" cable TV.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Most streaming services are going this route since it is more popular than cable itself. Soon enough, cable will go the way of
Blockbuster stores.

Doesn't the cable carry those streaming services to one's modem/TV?
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

You are confusing cable wire with the service.

I subscribe to Amazon Prime for the free shipping and faster delivery, but I don’t watch their streaming service, so the adverts won’t affect me.
I can’t see why I should pay a monthly subscription fee AND be charged extra for certain movies.

Netflix seems to be the only proper way to stream. Everything else just wants to overcompensate by trying to be more like cable.
