Why does age dictate voting restrictions? How can I have my voice heard if I'm not allowed to? I want to vote!

Crushing your idealism until we are certain it will never revive takes time. This is why you must wait before you are allowed to vote.

I'm sorry... my idealism? What do you exactly mean by that?
The way I see the world is not due by process of my "bubble." As I said, I am deeply informed about events in a non-partisan way. My idealism will remain the same through my life (for the most part). I think that's a fair prediction.

I once felt the same way. Life is a hell of a thing to happen to someone.

Fine..as far as I am concerned you can vote..but I think the state you are in will disagree. You see, I am not rich. Therefore, I dont have a say so in this matter. I cant help but think my vote is nothing more than an illusion to make me THINK I had a choice.

We can rule to get rid of the EC... why do we need it again?

Because do you *really* want democracy? I sure as hell do not.

Because you are young and inexperienced .....it basically comes down to that ....your discernment capabilities (while advanced as compared to other say "matured personalities" is sans question) is still viewed as under-developed and too emotional. This is why I am thinking.
