Lawrence Krauss gets fed up with the literal interpretation of Genesis and the creation story and writes a book titled "A Universe from Nothing" that pisses off God, who goes by the name of Professor David Z. Albert these days.  David says, "If the universe came from nothing then you should be able to whip up one of your own starting with nothing, right?"

Krauss says, "Sure."

David says, "Then let's see you do it."

Krauss bends over to disturb a quantum field, which will result in the creation of new particles.  At this point David interjects, "Oh no, that's my field, you go get your own field."

As usual, evolution is the better answer.

Boru

there was no big bang

There was a time in the past where the whole universe was much hotter and denser. At that time, life would have been impossible everywhere.

Being a philosopher of any nationality doesn't make you smart. And, no, you are not smarter than Hawking or Krauss.

The racial identity of the originators of an idea has nothing to do with the truth of that idea.

And being a racial bigot doesn't make one smart.
