What you say boils down to it is our nature to perform social engineering, and several other factors encouraged us to perform social engineering as well.
Only the politically inept try for "social engineering" the rest of humanity just get on with it...dopey fucks imho

If that is the case then it is the politically inept who has totally mastered our progress since leaving hunter gatherer life. Every aspect of how each of us live, from vocation, to religion, to law, to economy, to domecility, is an artifact of some social engineering.
