Their last couple of records have been a little over the top with the symphonics, but they're working on a new record right now.
I'm curious which direction they'll go next?

If they wanted to be super transgressive they could cut a gospel album. I'd jam to that for sure.

Oh barf. Why does he even "hate" Christianity in the first place? And why would hating Christianity be cool unless you were in middle school? Because they're Norwegian,and don't like the fact that the Catholic Church superimposed their religion on top of their old, pagan myths and stories. It's the reason that Black metal originated in Norway, Sweden, and Denmark in the first place. Bands like Bathory and Mayhem started this genre of music in the late 80s and early 90s, and it's exploded in the past 30+ years.
I've been listening to black metal for the last 20 or so years, and I fucking love it.

Satanism is the same religion as Christianity - cause they believe in the same mythical creatures, hell and paradise etc

Most forms of modern satanism are atheistic/humanistic. They don't believe in a real, actual devil.
