When discussing and debating issues I tend to focus narrowly on the issue at hand. As long as I'm not spewing hatred I assume that others will not think of me as hateful. Anyway, In the future I will try to express my feelings in that regard as I make my points. I apologize to anyone I may have unintentionally hurt.

I think you should worry more about actually speaking the truth, rather than if whatever you're saying sounds loving. The second thing is just a style criticism, the first is what keeps getting you in trouble. You keep saying the untrue shit that racists say, that it sounds bad is hardly the problem. You could say the untrue shit that racists say lovingly, and it would still be the same problem.

But sin is specifically transgression against God, while an immoral act may or may not be. By way of example, if I were to tell a lie for the sole purpose of sparing someone’s feelings, it would be a sin but certainly not immoral.

Except you hold the welfare of real humans hostage to your sad devotion to a nonexistent and, not to put too fine a point on it, rather immoral, diety, with your concept of morality. You transgressed against the practical good of mankind to indulge in a fantasy.

Your best apology is not repeating that behavior going forward. Words are cheap. Actions matter. Don't announce your new leaf, display it and let other discover it.
