Well, now we've settled that, let's get back to listing some of our favourite plays (whether musicals or otherwise, and if you want feel free to include operas and poetry-plays too).
I like Hamlet, Phantom of the Opera, Under Milk Wood, Educating Rita, Twelfth Night, The History Boys, Rigoletto, The Boys in the Band, Carmen, Chicago, Orffs Carmina Burana, Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and The Play that Goes Wrong.

I googled famous plays and saw nothing I like.
If musicals count as plays it's difficult to decide. I like the usual famous ones like Oliver, Jesus Christ Superstar, Mary Poppins.
I think a musical is a good middleground inbetween play and music gig. I don't really have the attention span to watch just music for hours, but a story inbetween is pretty good.
I went to watch Aladdin the pantomime and the story was kind of shit and didn't really make sense but the woman playing Jaffar suddenly started singing "It's my life" By Bon Jovi for no reason whatsoever and it blew my mind just how good she was.
My friend thinks it's very weird just how much I love musicals, she laughs whenever I talk about them. Maybe because I'm straight and like the UFC and sports but I also appreciate singing and dancing with a story.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.
