I saw Buddy and BB King at the Memphis Mud Island Amphitheater several years ago. They each did their own set then Buddy came out and played for awhile with BB. It was a great show and something I’m really glad I got to see.

Whoa, that would have been amazing.

I have never seen Buddy live, but I got to see BB King back in the Summer in Edinburgh... It was pretty spectacular.

While grabbing vids, a song came up on my playlist which deserves mention, Janis Joplin's Me and Bobby Mcgee (and while I'm at it, Piece Of My Heart).

(Yet another playlist reminiscence, George Jones' country. When I first encountered Jones' music, I was totally nonplussed; the more I listen though, the more I appreciate him as a gifted interpretive singer. My favorite, I've Aged Twenty Years In Five.)
