If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Good. Seriously sports is just a game. I think too much of the violence we see in sports outside the legal play action,  and even in bullshit shows like Jerry Springer does have a corrosive effect on societal civility. It fosters a sense of quick satisfaction self entitlement. It isn't that sports shouldn't exist, but it really should be more focused on sportsmanship rather that revenge.

I like my sports to contain equal measures of civility and brutal violence.

Table tennis needs to be a full-contact sport.

I've often said I would start watching pro golf actively if they added paint ball guns to it.

The rules would be you couldn't shoot someone on the tee off, but only on the green near the cup. And only  in the back and back of the legs on the put. And your rivals have to be 15 feet or more away. I figure if you can make the put being pelted with paint balls, you have really earned it.

Golf should be outlawed.

Most sports can be made better by making them shirtless.

^I worked at the country club my parents belonged to when I was teen into my early 20s. If those men would have showed up shirtless, I would have had to be the one drinking instead of serving the drinks. ICK

Just five minutes into watching Women's Beach Volleyball this summer and I already sustained a wrist injury.

That's like when they took away glass pop bottles at Yankee Stadium.   Can't kill the ump without a pop bottle.
