I've often said I would start watching pro golf actively if they added paint ball guns to it.

The rules would be you couldn't shoot someone on the tee off, but only on the green near the cup. And only  in the back and back of the legs on the put. And your rivals have to be 15 feet or more away. I figure if you can make the put being pelted with paint balls, you have really earned it.

Golf should be outlawed.

I was think more of using the acreage to build houses for the homeless. My teeny, tiny country has about 60 000 acres devoted to golf. Figuring the land taken up by new infrastructure, that’s enough space for more than 100 000 houses. Which, by happy coincidence, is roughly the number of homeless people in New Zealand.
