Kind of dreary here. Temps okay at around 70 but gray and gloomy looking.

How's the weather treating you today?

I'm irritated, the forecast calls for clouds and possible rain on Monday just as totality approaches in the early afternoon.
^They are watching weather here too.
Facebook local pages have people freaking out trying to find eclipse safety glasses. In the last few day I have been in more stores than I usually enter in a month's time. Every one has had at least a box full of them that I saw. If we get the clouds they are calling for, it's not really going to matter. Haven't looked outside yet.

I have read things about how the eclipse might affect pets and other animals. Some dogs may freak out like they do in a storm and birds might think they should be going to sleep. In the Dallas area the full eclipse is supposed to last less than four minutes. For some reason I think the dogs and the parrots can hang in there for four minutes. I suppose we will see.
I'm going to stay inside Monday, lest I have an attack of the stupids and decide to look at the sun.

I hear the rumblings of thunder. Then I peek outside to see a foreboding grey sky and gusting winds. No cloud tears yet.
