Fresh cold and windy with nice sunshine most of the day. However, I did experience a heavy five minute shower waiting for the train home.

Spring apparently saw its own shadow and ran away screaming - temperatures have dropped, and yesterday's rain turned into snow overnight (it's already melted, fortunately).

Winnipeg's unofficial motto: "Don't like the weather? Wait a minute." We sit in pretty flat territory and regularly get hit by Colorado lows and Alberta clippers, but the city has a ring highway that's apparently connected to a dome-like forcefield (urban heat island). A lot of threatening weather prefers to take the bypass around the ring road, thereby missing the heart of the city at least half the time.
