34F and raining, the worst of both worlds. But at least winter has arrived ... finally.

How's the weather treating you today?

It's 17.6 f here, i had to google that.
We use Celsius here and its. -8. Debating on going to the gym instead of a long walk. Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them. Impersonation is treason.
Nearly 6 am and still snowing/raining and generally making a slushy mess out of things.
Dandy, it was raining and cold this morning and I got paid to not take a charter out at the clients request, the clients even gave a VERY generous tip.
53 degrees with a forecast of the temp lowering throughout the day.

It's in the high 20s today, so, fairly nice. I may run out for a short bit later, but since I'm mostly staying in, that's excellent weather.
Dry today, temp higher -- about 55F tops, but the bitter cold is gone.
49 right now. It's officially winter in Florida.

The rain/snow/sleet finally quit. Yesterday I had to back my car out onto the street so the sun would melt the slab of ice/snow from the roof and the windshield.
Next week is supposed to be pretty cold and they are predicting more snow and rain for the last week of this month. Of course, this forecast can change a lot in a week. At least my car is now thawed out. |
