How's the weather treating you today?

This entire summer has been relatively mild (90 - 98F) and wet. We've only broken 100F maybe five days? Odd stuff.

We have also been experiencing milder temps.  When we moved here, in August 2006, it was hotter than the hubs of hell and it seems like this is the first August that hasn't been that way in all these years...but, I will take it happily.

2019 was very mild for us, but the winter was normal, a couple of freezes. I'm wanting to track this for comparison's sake. It's really only the second soft summer we've had since I moved here in 2012.

City news reports 11 3-digit days so far this year, which is higher than what we've seen 30 miles away, maybe 6-8 days here without so much asphalt in our podunk. Norm is from 50-70 days over 100F each year.

It's definitely an Indian Summer here, 97F today. It is, though, nice and cool at night. No humidity to make it swelter.

High 70s, and the humidity is down. Another coolish summer. I hope it's coupled with another mild winter. That probably looks silly coming from a  Californian, given the wild weather the rest of the country can and/or is experiencing. My major relief is none of the 118° in the shade, and no shade. We had our back yard hardscaped, and those guys are tough as nails to work in the heat. I've done it in the past, but I can't take that anymore.

It's about 14 F. I've been having trouble getting deliveries from Walmart this past week. It will be colder tomorrow, but I may want to make a run to the store. I could wait for warmer weather, but I'm running low on cold brew tea-making supplies. After a couple of tries to get my sweetened tea bags from Walmart, I ended up going through Amazon. Unfortunately, that only takes care of half my supplies. The other half I really depend on Walmart's inexpensive iced tea bags.

19 F. and dry this morning. That might not sound too cold to some of you, but I live in humid subtropical midlands of SC USA.
