How's the weather treating you today?

Mid-October and the mountains finally got their first snow. This used to be early September and many years even as early as mid-August. I'd love to know how China is staging this in order to perpetrate their climate hoax.

Weather in Winnipeg continues to be the meteorological equivalent of a loose cannon. Last Saturday was gorgeous, summer-like weather suitable for working out in the yard in a T-shirt. Subsequently it's been raining on and off, with freezing or near-freezing temperatures overnight, and tomorrow the sun comes out and the temperature goes back up to about +15C.

Right at this moment, though (approaching 11 pm), the air outside has that unsettling "feels like it's gonna snow" feeling.

The temperature drop came in on a strong wind. The wind continues and it will be in the 40s tonight. Yesterday it was nearly 90 degrees. The seasons here seem to be slow to change and then do it all at once.

Cooler, 29C/85F (hey, it's relative), afternoon/evening thunderstorms the last three days. Remnants from Simon, but look out, here comes Trudy. Hopefully she's going to slip past the bay without wreaking havoc.

Cold and windy. I switched to long pants once I was done getting my hair cut. It's supposed to get up to 70 next week.
