The Contract
#11
RE: The Contract
Hmm, most of the clergy I've encountered were great people who would abhor this sort of treatment because it ultimatly drives a wedge between the child and God. Remember they DO go to college and they only work a few days a week so they have lots of time to think about stuff. Smile Pretty good gig if you ask me.

They have a vested interest in making sure the sheep keep coming back and filling the collection plate, Rhiz.

First and foremost, religion is a money-making scam for the priest class. Always has been.

No. What you have here is a diktat. A harsh settlement imposed on the defeated or helpless. You will not always be helpless and turnabout is a bitch.

Your parents, I'm afraid, will always be controlling assholes who think they can impose their will simply by saying so.

Very true Min. Very true. Anything under Duress is not considered a binding contract. BUT! The parents CAN still kick him out. It sucks, but he cant take them to court over it.

RE: The Contract
Sorry you had to sign it, but at this point I think it's the best thing. I know you feel like you caved but you really had no choice, as others here pointed out. You're not quite ready to be out on your own yet, and until you are you'll have to put up with their demands. But, as I said, you just have to put up with it for a short time until you are on your own, at which point you can give a hearty "Fuck you!" to the church forever. Remember, they can make you go with them to church, but they can't make you believe in it.

I just hope that all this doesn't sour your relationship with your parents. I know they're trying way too hard to get you to be religious again, and I'd hate to see all this pushing you to church pushing you away from them. I wish I knew why they think that you going to church is so damned important when you just don't believe in it. Maybe they are refusing to accept that, and think you're just rebelling or something. I just hope that you remember how they treated you when you have kids so that you don't do the same thing.

Remember you always have someone here to talk about it if you need to.
Oh, and remember this incident whenever Christians complain about how persecuted they are.

Nothing that meaningless sex cant easily fix. You are 17! When I was 17 I was dry humping the air everytime a stiff breeze rubbed me the right way. Get in good with the ladies at the church. Statistics DO NOT LIE. There has to be at least ONE sex fiend female in every church.

When I was going to bible study as a teenager (even though I prefered polytheism and the occult at the time), I worked my way through every single female in that group. Some I scored with, some I got first or second base. It didnt mater. I really didnt care much for the bible at the time. I was there to get pussy and make my mother happy...and I WILLINGLY did it, without her even asking me. I was on my mothers happy list for 2 straight years because of that.

Make this work for you man. I know you can do it. Besides, you will get a crash course lesson on acting, and you might even get some trim on the side if you play your cards right.

i will be kicked out if i do not follow theses rules

agree to get ready for church when be told and with out arguing and using inappropriate language.

will attend church on Saturday or Sunday.

if i do not do so they will cut off all money and everything.

sadly I signed it.....
I guess it bought me time to find a place to go.

idk i feel bad like i lost all hope like i just wanna sit there paralyzed staring at nothing.
fucking church its like they made them so no one will escape as if they brainwashed their minds making think that if they don't make their kids go they will go to hell.

the church uses hell to... get money, beating religion into people, and use the Communism fear to control.

communism = control
religion = control
communism = religion

That is cold. Remember the contract NEEDS to be in two fold so you also have a copy. Bring the copy to church every time and show it to people. ROFLOL

Rainydays,

That might be the best idea I've heard in this whole thread. That would be some comedy eh? Red should bring the contract to the clergy and see what they think.

RE: The Contract
Depends on which church they go to. There are two Catholic churches nearby, the one in the town I live in is staffed by a somewhat decent priest who would probably admonish Red's parents for driving a wedge between him and religion. The other church in another town has a priest who is pretty fundie in his beliefs and already told Red that he thought that he was going to hell. I'd bet that he'd like the contract.
