In Canada, and any civilized country, there would be no question of whether to charge the owner. Hell, it probably wouldn't even see the inside of a courtroom. More likely to plead out and save everybody the paperwork.

The charges culminating in a sentence of a modest fine and community service. I’d put money on it. For the community service, I’d suggest 1000 hours of cleaning Hispanic peoples’ homes.

I'm not so sure, there's been a couple of convictions in similar case in the recent past. We'll see. Whoever loses, we can meet in Honolulu and loser buys the beer.
