I don't really have the full context to comment either way, but how the heck does a nation allow this level of lawlessness?

People are openly lynching other people in the name of religion, supporting terrorism, and the government doesn't even pretend to show any concern.

I really don't understand why everyone is suddenly going crazy around the world, as if looking to trigger another large-scale war. I can understand nations fighting amongst themselves for resources, but how does it help to foster this type of internal conflict, which just destabilizes the country itself?

government of Bangladesh wrote on December 20 that seven men had been arrested in the case of "Mymensingh Hindu youth's beating to death". That figure is now updated to 12.

The government also said, "such acts of violence will be met with the full force of the law … the government remains fully committed to ensuring the safety, dignity, and equal protection of all citizens, regardless of religion, ethnicity, or background."

They may have lost control though it doesn't sound like sound like the government is condoning the behaviour. Sectarian killings often follow this sort of pattern, it wasn't that dissimilar in Northern Ireland during the Troubles. At the rate things are going in the US I wouldn't be surprised to see Southern Baptist - Catholic killings before too long.
