What's the oldest thing in your house?

I have some old, old woodworking tools that belonged to my grandfather...and possibly my great grandfather since grandpa took over the family farm. We also have a couple quite old butter churns as well as several antique cooking utensils.

The coolest thing is a scythe that surely belonged to my great grandfather and would make the grim reaper proud. It's longer than I am tall with a well-worn wooden handle and a fair amount of rust. It's an odd thing to have around but is pretty cool anyway.

Maybe some rocks? If we're talking about manmade things, the oldest thing I can think of is an ancient book of Montaigne's essays that Dad used to propose to my mother. No prizes for guessing how that turned out.

Either that, or an old coin from the reign of Emperor Claudius. But I can't be sure whether or not it's real. Looking closer at it, I suspect it may actually be a coin of Nero instead of Claudius. I just took some photos, and I figure I’ll let any numismatists here be the judge:
