stranger in a strange land

stranger in a strange land
Hello everyone. Was browsing and ran across this website. I've been to a couple of other sites, with some stimulating discussions. I'm looking forward to observing, and contributing where invited...

I'm from the USA, and looking foward to the day when nagging priorities (work/office) are behind me. I'm a mathematician by training and interested in philosophy as a method for honing skills in logic.

DO... or DO NOT... there is no TRY!

Welcome, and I invite the vampire into the entirety of the basic member forum.

If you don't kill anyone I like, I might grant you the honor of being my new toy for a day Heart

If you wait till you're invited, you'll miss the party.
Welcome to the forums feel free to lurk or discuss as much or as little as you like.
"There ought to be a term that would designate those who actually follow the teachings of Jesus, since the word 'Christian' has been largely divorced from those teachings, and so polluted by fundamentalists that it has come to connote their polar opposite: intolerance, vindictive hatred, and bigotry." -- Philip Stater, Huffington Post

That was a great book, wasn't it?

Welcome to the forum, yoda55.

I feel that everyone here is a stranger in a sense. I'm a stranger, too. But, if you post more, then you'll become less of a stranger (although still a stranger).

I'm not a stranger here at all. I might well be so if you see me when I am more refined and careful Heart
