True, true, but it is generally for computer games. I've asked in the feedback section for a sports section, I'd rather like a sports section don't know about anyone else...
Never did understand the "My team won x" sort of thing... when I watch people play in a tournament I am doing so to witness a battle of skill. I may prefer one side's style to the others... but at the end of the day it's about observing excellence.

That is understandable. Alaska doesn't have four teams that have won championships in your lifetime.

That said, it has won championships. http://www.adn.com/2011/01/02/1628803/al...ional.html http://peninsulaclarion.com/stories/0804...0001.shtml http://www.npr.org/2011/03/07/134342253/...ampionship http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alaska_Aces_(ECHL) The Iditarod is often won by alaskans. One of the victors is a neighbor, infact... and I happen to have met and know several on the Kenai Peninsula. Alaska isn't so much incapable of sports... as it doesn't have them. I know, Sae. It's kind of hard to play baseball in Alaska.
I am very attached to my state. Well, at least my area. New England is definitely my home. We just also happen to have very good teams in several sports and we're excited about it.
