Religious pardons within the UK food industry

Religious pardons within the UK food industry
Thought I would start off my life in this forum with a little input, so here goes something I made earlier!

I am writing this to help raise awareness on certain issues that are presented within our current society that not all are currently aware of. Within the UK under the Slaughterhouse act 1974 [1] it is illegal to kill an animal that has not been sufficiently stunned or not stunned at all, with ''the only exemption provided in legislation for the Jewish and Muslim communities from stunning'' [1][2].

I find this outrageous that anyone of the Jewish or Islamic faith has the ability to make themselves exempt of law to meet with their horrific standards of what they deem 'lawful' meat. This is multiculturalism gone wrong. This is where we bend over backwards to avoid the word 'bigot' being shouted when we do not respect an act deemed not worth respecting to any standards of equality and restriction on allowing animals to suffer.

This does not only invade the world of food, but also our court system. Currently we have at least 85 Sharia Courts within Britain [3] that further undermine our understanding of equality and a fair judicial system. Sharia law is an issue, and it is an issue because of what it stands for as It is the 'unalterable word of god' according to followers of the Islamic faith. If you are unaware of Sharia law and want to know what is so negative about it, let me list you some of it's so called laws people in the middle-east actually live by.

Sharia Law
1) How a woman must prove rape
a) ''Under Islamic law, rape can only be proven if the rapist confesses or if there are four male witnesses. Women who allege rape, without the benefit of the act having been witnessed by four men who subsequently develop a conscience, are actually confessing to having sex. If they or the accused happens to be married, then it is considered to be adultery.'' [4]
b) ''And those who accuse free women then do not bring four witnesses (to adultery), flog them...'' [4]

2) ''Establishes that a woman's testimony is worth only half that of a man's in court '' [4]
3) ''"Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will..." There is no such thing as rape in marriage, as a man is permitted unrestricted sexual access to his wives.'' [4]

This is a very narrow insight into what Sharia law is like, and if you are interested in reading more upon this I suggest you do so. It's time for people with the morale high ground to take a stand and say WE are offended by your barbaric beliefs and practises and not accept this ''multicultural'' acceptance that isn't about multiculturalism at all, but about implementing Sharia practises to the western world.

The UK doesn't have anything similar to our (the USA) Constitution that would prevent this encroachment?

Bang on.

It's absolute hypocrisy by us as human beings, that we can deem one thing unacceptable, yet grant special permissions to certain people to essentially commit these crimes just because they have a fucking label. Absolutely ridiculous.

The thing about halall meat is that they mae so much of it that some spills into the normal meat market.
I could well have eaten meat killed in an inhumane way and not know it.

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.
