Oh yeah, trust me, I get it. I worked in an essentially Mormon town for four years. I was playing with the words-not serving them up on golden plates.

I imagine a mormon town to be a bit like a smily version of a george a romero film.

Very much so. No crime (well, aside from the obvious), uber-clean everything, giant SUVs with cute little kiddie counter decals on the back, a (brand name deleted) church every thirty feet or so. It lulls you into unthinking, if you are not careful. The mayor's myriad children were my students, along with children of so many "notables" in the community.
