Was pretty obvious now that I look at it.
You will all grow to realise I'm a little slow at times.
Cat, everybody on this site gets some kind of shortening or acronym for their name.
It is what it is and there's little you can do about it.
That being said ... Welcome young one. Always good to see a young mind freeing itself of the shackles of xtianity. Slavery sucks!

The forums are the power... your mistake was miraculously a mistake knot.
Which is similar to a bowline, but then it's tied to a chainsaw.
And the chainsaw starts sawing, and the plastic cuts the saw in half.
And both of those halves grow up to be polish sausages.
Which were then chopped up to become whatever it was you just ate.
I expect that you have been poisoned.
Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day

I don't honestly know how to respond to that too. Whenever you say something like that you'll get this from me. Skip to 2:16

Hey Cath, welcome to the asylum, uh I mean forums!
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Welcome aboard, Miss Cath. While not an atheist, I reserve the right to extend welcome to all who enter these hallowed halls, even though it is not my forum.
I'm not an atheist, but occasionally (very occasionally) I can actually produce some decent conversation for a minute or two.
Be thou welcome here, milady. James.

You're sixteen, still at school, and obviously haven't experienced the world' but does that not answer your question? Yes, I am only 16 and am still at school, and no I have not experienced the world, but even I - a typically naive teenager - can realise the absurdities created within the religious minds of those around us. That's how easy it is to open your eyes and realise how much of an unreliable source religion is in comparison to scientific evidence for example. You don't have to think like Darwin, Hawking or Dawkins. You could be the next Jim or Bob and still be able to realise this. Unless you're the pope. Welcome Cath.
What I like is people who don't try to force their opinions onto others. You may think you're right, but someone else might think differently. We need to let them have the freedom to think that.
Now I would never call your beliefs absurd, but I would question your knowledge. 99% of non Christians have skewed ideas of what they think Christianity is. It's a target of hate, and deserved most of the time: but not for what the faith is about, but for what people have done supposedly in it's name.
