Thats a bit harsh, isn't it?
I hope her beliefs don't make it to 14. But they will. Indoctrination works like that.
My conclusion is that there is no reason to believe any of the dogmas of traditional theology and, further, that there is no reason to wish that they were true.
Man, in so far as he is not subject to natural forces, is free to work out his own destiny. The responsibility is his, and so is the opportunity.

I quite honestly concede your point, but well... killing a zombie who had no chance of being a human in the first place seems too cruel to wrap my mind around.

Quote:I'm absolutely sick of being told to be nice to people who smile at the thought of others suffering. I'll call them on their bullshit every time and I won't apologize. There's no sense wagging fingers at the person who responds to monstrosity with aggression, ridicule, and downright malice. That is exactly how it should be dealt with, and always should have been dealt with. If it were we could have saved ourselves plenty of trouble at just about any point in time.

And with you, to an extent. I just cannot bring myself to laugh at so many people even when it is often downright funny what they believe.
Plus, it might be bad for my health, I live in the Bible Belt.

Well, I usually don't start in with laughter. My wife is a born again Christian. I wouldn't have gotten very far if I started in with laughter. I live in Kentucky btw, home of the creation museum, and soon to be home of the ark theme park.

I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I hope her beliefs don't make it to 14. But they will. Indoctrination works like that.

But you never know when they will break free of that indoctrination. She may do it at 14 or she may do it at 35 (like I did). Just because she's indoctrinated now doesn't mean she'll stay that way.

And they are freaking hard to kill off. Where there's one you see: there's a hundred crawling in the walls.
