Wasnt quite sure where to put this. Ive noticed there are a few computer people on here that might could answer a question for me. I have an HP laptop ive been working on. Its a Pavilion dv5000. With a AMD Turion ML-34 processor in it. Something strange today though. When i booted up the laptop. I went to system prop from the control panel to pull up my device manager and i happened to glad at the general info before i switched. I noticed something. My processor speed changed. It should be rated 1.60 something i think. Last time i looked. Its now showing it is only 789MHz. Any help here? Is it something i should be concerned about? Thanks

No, it’s a laptop. It changes clock speed automatically based on load to save power.

Thank you. Learn something new every day i guess. The laptop had some problems when i got it. Its just been kind of a project for me. I was worried something might be up with the processor or the voltage to it.
