I go to crunchyroll.com and I watch television in Japanese so that I can pick up vocabulary. I also watch the Korean dramas sometimes and I'm starting to really enjoy the Korean language as well! I like Japanese and have studied it in my 'school years'... I "pick - up" words and phrases and like you my vocabulary is expanding but not enough to hold a conversation, so iie..I do not "speak Japanese". I love Ghiblli Studios and of course grew up with anime I think "Astroboy" is the first I can remember.
