Atheists tend to be pissed about theistic beliefs, for various reasons.

Reasoning is always good.

Where you are you're in the minority, it's an understandable reation.

Nah, I don't think so.
It always helps to see the human side. That Rayaan isn't what has been typical here: hit and run Muslims[/theists].

Yeah, I'm leaving this thread for now because I don't want to argue about this.

Islam is Muslims. While it might sound far-fetched, you never know how many Muslims will be Rayaans in ten, twenty, fifty years. Sure, extremist Islam is a son of a bitch right now, but so is Catholicism. I have more hope for the former, to be honest.

I have a hard time with that. Theistic beliefs don't piss me off. Some individual theists do. It's not what they believe, it is how they deliver it. Plus, like any other group, there are theists who are utter douches.

Thestic beliefs didnt use to piss me off, but then I realised that these beliefs led them to vote and act in certain ways that impacted other people.
This is mainly true in america, in britain we have a home grown form of theism that, for most practicle purposes, is indestinguishable from atheism, it is the evangelical american style creationist, fundamentalist drivel that gets my full contempt. these people purposely switch off reason and logic so they can still believe the tripe they do and try and force these beliefs on others.

I am turning red and steaming at the ears as i type.

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.
