I'm pretty sure it would be hilarious. It'd be much more serious than Borat, I assure you.
That remains to be seen.
....and very doubtful.

Wait, why is this called American myths? The Stalin and Hitler myths are not strictly American.

There is a saying in Turkish; "kendi kendine gelin güvey olmak", being bride and groom on their own.
Someone just happened to think that these were issues that were primarily related to them, and put them on there.
It's probably the religion-atheism factor and divide in America.

I wondered about that too but was too lazy to break it up.

It's all a part of the christian-atheist thing that you have going on in America.
And I believe this is the only place where it actually has a prominence, along with a wide range of issues like abortion and all, which do not constitue such a divide in other nations around the world.

It is related, but they're still not really "American" specific myths.

Well, Hitler and Stalin were at the opposite ends of madness. The extent of their madness is to be judged by their allies and enemies, collaborators and victims.
America was both an ally and an enemy to both, during different periods.
However, they do not actually judge this by analyzing the people, they judge this by analyizing their own belief systems and philosophical standings, to use as a weapon against their counterparts.
