Instead of starting another thread in which the subject is just one video, I thought of starting one in which there are funny videos of all kinds!

A couple of Nazi ones to begin. First from Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones:

Next up, David Mitchell and Robert Webb make a horrifying discovery:

Finally for now, in response to Rev Rye's wish expressed in this post for Laurel and Hardy's Sons of the Desert to appear on YouTube, I've decided to try to upload the film to my own channel. By way of a prelude, I uploaded this famous routine of Stan and Babe with the Avalon Boys from their 1937 classic Way Out West:

I make no apologies for saying that this cracks me up every single time, without fail, starting from their very first dance step.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Well, Stimbo, I see your dance routine and raise you "Them Thar Hills," my own personal candidate for their best short:

Many kudos, however points deducted for using the colourised version, I'm afraid. Oh it's very cleverly done, don't get me wrong, and the technology for doing it has improved over the years. I just find it very distracting, plus it somehow cheapens the film. I don't know. Anyway, for best short, I'm torn between Them Thar Hills, Towed In A Hole, Dirty Work, Hog Wild and Twice Two. Any single one of them has the power to reduce me to tears of pure laughter, even in my current emotional state; put them together and that's me finished.

Yeah, I have mixed feelings about colourisation, but even if they do get Stan's hair color wrong, I don't think it's too terrible. It doesn't really hurt that when I was growing up and renting these movies from the Skokie Library, the only copies of these particular movies I could find were the colorized versions; plus, at least that version had better video quality than the old R1 DVD release (You're damn lucky that R2 had the complete collection.)
Plus, it was the only copy of the full (or at least serialised) short on Youtube. I couldn't even find a copy of the Music Box. Or Helpmates. Or Towed in a Hole.
Speaking of which:

Well I'm trying to put a couple onto my YT channel as I write this. I'm fairly new to this uploading lark and I'm a little nervy about copyright and all that, so anything I do put on there I intend to keep unlisted, meaning I can share them here (as I have done already) but you won't find them on YouTube without the link.
