Just checking in.... I'm joining you guys from just across the river from the Creation Museum. I've been a nonbeliever for well over 10 years now, but have been mostly apathetic toward my own worldview for quite a while. I'm not longer as adamantly anti-religion as I was in my youth. I feel like maybe I've gotten a little soft in my old age. Thus, I figured joining a new forum of like minded folk might help rectify that.

Outside of that, I am a huge hockey fan, a software programmer by trade, and have played lead guitar in the same band for over 10 years...

What sort of music do you play? More importantly, what kind of guitar do you use?

We play what I guess would be considered "Indie pop".... somewhere on the spectrum between They Might Be Giants and the Beatles.... we draw a lot of comparisons to the New Pornographers for some reason.

On the album we just did down in Nashville, I played a Reverend Warbird that I just bought recently. But over the years I've split a lot of time between a Tele, Strat, and a home-built Washburn Strat-copy.... I have been sticking almost exclusively to a Fender Deluxe Reverb amp, but did spend a bit of time w/ a Vox AC50 (it ended up being cheap Chinese garbage, though).
