Jeez the rumours say that he set up a cult compound in Germany. That sounds very worrisome if true.

Oh wow, holy sht. This is some scientology shit right here. Just check the subreddit for athenism or w/e it's called, people actually think they can click, and they really buy his shit. I don't like this either :v

I have noted elsewhere that when you look at his long bizarre propaganda video "science finds god" or whatever it is called, that he borrows a lot of elements from scientology directly

- both LRH and this Athene guy talk about how test subjects report increased IQs after use of the technology

- both claim to lead practitioners to a state of Clarity/Clear

- both claim to eliminate emotional or subconscious parts of the mind in order to restore its performance (LRH calls it the reactive mind)

- both warn that their technology can have fatal consequences if advanced steps are taken by an unprepared beginner/if the prescribed procedure isn't followed exactly

I'm sure more parallels can be found of you look closer.

It's almost like Athene simply concocted an updated version of Scientology for today's frustrated computer nerd.
