There should be no price placed, as far as I'm concerned, when it comes to treating sick people. Of course, I'm a physician so you should expect that opinion from me.
I was joking about guns.
The last time I even touched one I was about 14 at an army display. I picked up on old SLA assault rifle which was bloody heavy. So, I braced myself to pick up an M16 which I thought would be as heavy, overcompensated, and fell on my arse.
It would be funny if I wasn't so pissed atm sorry
I just escaped a red state on the edge of life with sepsis after their ERs tossed me out with 102 fever, dizziness, and fatigue. Yep you guessed it: Pnemonia. I tried at least five ER visits for help in 6wks time, and was chastised by the doctors for wasting taxpayers money. The only waste, imo, is the Republicans who are letting Medicare pay their hospital bills while they murder people by kicking them out of their bankrupt hospitals to help the 'bottom line'. Do you know elderly, sick, whathaveyou can't get any support services whatsoever unless they pay a $2500 spend down with the state every 6months? My sister with two children got $30/mo for food stamps even though shes at poverty level with a FT job and FT school. There are children starving and people dying-- guaranteed, and its not the "moocher" states doing the killing. Its the ones with ignorant fucktards like mister Professor here. Fucking price of bullets. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!
One would hope you'd have more important things to worry about, your last few hours of existence.
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
