Evil Atheists?

The shortest way to combat yout opponent is to demonize him ,to devilize him ,to evilize him .
In the case of atheism versus religion ,as well as one type of religion against another, a most used way of combat is brandishing the opponent with names like "antichrists","infidels","pagans",immoral men,homosexuals,etc,,

There is to it also an other aspect :the minoritarian one.
We atheists are still among our people where ever we may be,even in the land "of the free", a neglectable minority and minorities are allways the "causes "of all evil.
You enjoyed the fall of the "Empire of evil" as named by the late RR,as most of the free world did ?
Well in the late Soviet Union as well in it's satellite countries ,atheism was hold in high esteem.Children were learned beginning with the kinder garten that there is no God.All the levels of education were impregnated by atheism,as viewed by Karl Marx and Hegel as his philosophical mentor.

Now what we see in present Russia and in all freed from comunism countries is a massive comeback of religion.
One could say that this come back is supported by the new institutions fot political reasons, but on the other hand the distress engendered by the new capitalistic regime among a lot of people has pushed them towards the belief in God.

There is ,in my view, a lesson to it for atheism:atheism is an idea which struggles for the minds of people but on the other hand atheism should declare clear and loud that it don't fight against the simple man who feels deep in his conscious that the belief in God helps him in his life.

My slogan to it would be "Respect for the man who earns for his living in honesty and believes in God;Respect for the clergyman who makes a living from religion helping the former in his belief;Direspect and fight against the man who makes a living from religion seeking foremost for his own political or material benefit.
