If you told me that I'd say show me. But I bet your ass you'd have to build it yourself. Not only is this a pain in the ass for many people, I'd also say good luck with having a warranty on it.
I notice you conveniently ignored my point about console exclusive games...
Quote:Mods are quite easy to install.. especially games running with steam. There are whole games based on mods TF2 and Left4dead2 are good examples of this.
Some mods are, some mods aren't. I've modded quite a few games now, and the main issue is compatibility with other mods. This can be not only time consuming to sort out but just generally a pain in the ass. Overall I'm just not that fussed about mods.
Quote:The difference is FOV (Field of View) and overall quality.

Here are some examples

Field of view, fair point. Overall quality? Debatable. Entirely dependent on what you consider to be quality and if it's graphics, most console gamers I know wouldn't really care. I also wouldn't say it helps immersiveness to have 3 separate screens.
But again, this is mainly just personal preference.
Quote:A mouse is by far more precise in every way. There's just no way around this really. A controller has two speeds... slow and fast. A mouse translates the speed of the movement of your hand into the game.
Who said accuracy is the be all and end all of good design? I was talking in terms of how it actually feels to play with a controller as opposed to a keyboard and mouse. I much prefer the former.
Quote:Are you also aware that most FPS on console have a slight aim assist added into the game... if you're close enough to your target then the game will aim for you. Why implement such a feature if controllers are as accurate as mouses?
Again, I never mentioned accuracy. I have no qualms saying a mouse is more accurate than a joypad. But if you think that's going to make me say a mouse is better for gaming then you're completely missing the point.
